Savory Stuffed Bao Buns
Boa Buns using leftover pizza dough

•Put a couple of inches of water in a hotel pan. Cover and heat in the oven.
•Divide your leftover pizza dough into 1 ½ oz. pieces.
•Form each piece of dough into a flat disc. Don’t make the centers too thin!
•Place a mound of filling in the center. I made: BBQ pork (leftover carnitas, fig jam, bbq sauce) Veggie (roasted peppers and onions, asparagus, cilantro and ginger) Chicken (grilled chicken, roasted peppers and onions, cilantro and ginger)
•Pull the sides of the dough up over the filling and pinch to seal.
•Place each bun on a small square of parchment.
•Use a perforated pan inset to hold the buns and place it in your preheated pan.
•Steam the buns for 10 –12 minutes.
