Cedar Planked Roasted Vegetables

Roasting vegetables on planks in your Wood Stone is a great way to add a little flavor and give your presentation that “wow” factor.  Your cooking times will vary according to which vegetables you use – root vegetables will take the longest.

 

  1. Soak cedar planks for at least 20 minutes before using.
  2. Cut your veggies into bite sized chunks.
  3. Add aromatics – chunks of onion or garlic, fresh herbs or seasoning.
  4. Toss everything in a little bit of olive oil and add salt + pepper to taste.
  5. Arrange your veggies on the plank.
  6. With oven temperatures between 450°F and 500°F, put the planks in the cooler side of the oven.
  7. Roast until cooked to your liking and serve right from the plank!
