PNW Apple Burger
makes 4 “double” burgers
Cranberry Mustard Sauce
- ¼ cup finely diced dried cranberries
- ½ cup mayo
- 1 T. whole grain mustard
- Mix the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Set aside.
For Burgers
- 8 hamburger patties
- 8 slices thick cut pepper bacon
- 4 very thick slices of red onion
- 4 very thick slices of apple, cut horizontally, core removed
- 4 brioche hamburger buns
- 8 slices white cheddar
- 1 – 2 cups loosely packed arugula
Method
Heat the zones on your Plancha as follows:
- 425 F – burger patties
- 325 F – bacon
- 350 F – apple slices
- 350 F – onion slices
- 300 F – buns
Cook each ingredient, flipping once until done to your liking. Top the burger patties with cheese after the first flip.
To assemble: Smear the Cranberry Mustard Sauce on both buns. Stack with a burger patty, bacon, burger patty, onion, apple, arugula.
