Wood Stone Chef Travis Walker had a chance to lend a hand at the opening night gala at the new Pierside Kitchen at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, WA. The reception for almost 400 members and guests was a smashing success, with mouthwatering entrees like pan-seared halibut, half roasted chicken, and gigantic, bone-in rib eye coming out of their brand new Fire Deck 9660. Of course, there were flatbreads and pizzettas on offer as well, including a stunning white anchovy, caper, and kalamata olive pie. The reception was a smashing success, and we will certainly have our eye on this beautiful new restaurant in our own backyard.
