Temperature Verification: Zones are numbered from left to right.

Ensure the griddle surface is clean and free of grease or carbon buildup
Confirm no residue is present that could affect readings (grease can skew temperature measurements)
Set all zones to 400F, turn on plancha.
From a cold start allow unit to heat and stabilize for 60 minute before measuring temperature.
Thermocouple Positions: 48-inch griddle has four 12-inch zones. From the front edge of the griddle plate measure back 10 inches.
Position the calibration meter on griddle plate and then slide it over the top of the thermocouple position.
- Monitor temperature of the zone until the burner comes on and then once it goes off this is the calibration value. Temperature should be -5º/+25º of setpoint when zone light goes.
