Jeff Dunkin

Jeff was born in the Midwest, but spent most of his childhood in Whatcom County, leaving for a short stint in California. He attended Trinity Western University outside of Vancouver, British Columbia where he received his BA in Leadership. He worked several years in the residential appliance industry, before he was turned on to Wood Stone through two of his close friends who work as engineers for the company.

Remembering his first visit to the corporate office, Jeff recalls being immediately enamored by the people, the product, and the overall Wood Stone experience. It may have been the “Caution: Adults at Play” sign outside the office that made it feel like home. As Jeff puts it: “I’ve never seen a company that aligns so well with my core values. Wood Stone is more than a manufacturer of the best stone hearth ovens in the world, we are a company the believes that there is a right way to do business that benefits the client, the company and its employees, the community, as well as the environment. I tell my wife almost every day just how blessed and proud I am to be a part of this family.”

When he’s not at his desk or roaming about the country, you can typically find Jeff in the test kitchen seeing what Chefs Tim, Frank, and Travis are cooking. His fondness for protein out of the Josper oven is obvious...

In his spare time, Jeff loves travelling with his beautiful wife, Taryn, seeking out unique culinary experiences, mixing creative libations, and supporting his beloved Seattle Seahawks.
