Wood Stone is currently seeking Heavy Assembler

 

DESCRIPTION:

You Will

 

  • Help build the best products of their kind for the enjoyment and satisfaction of Wood Stone customers, in the most efficient and safe manner possible.
  • Assemble large cast ceramic pieces and encase in steel exoskeleton to build ovens.
  • Measure and cut insulation materials with both hand tools and band saw.
  • Manually install insulation onto the oven.
  • Operate batch oven and individual burners to cure out ceramic shapes.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

You Have

 

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • 1- 2 years of experience in similar field.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the electro-mechanical field.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math, including understanding fractions.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

 


 

 

Wood Stone is currently seeking a Polisher/Finisher

 

DESCRIPTION:

You Will

 

  • Help build the best products of their kind for the enjoyment and satisfaction of Wood Stone customers, in the most efficient and safe manner possible.
  • Perform a variety of operations to remove burrs or sharp edges and clean machined and/or welded flat surfaces, and a variety of work that may have intricate recessing, unusual contours, or interrelated surfaces. Determine speed, feed and operation sequence or set up pursuant to speeds, etc., from drawings or other written specifications. Select and dress wheels for varying materials and finish requirements.
  • Inspect completed work for acceptable aesthetics, grain, and sharp edges.
  • Strive for acceptable aesthetic finishes and high output.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

You Have

 

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • 1- 2 years of experience in similar field.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to select proper tools for each task and identify metal grain.
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math, including understanding fractions.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment
