IT ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking an IT Administrator who will provide Wood Stone with a safe and effective IT infrastructure that supports our dynamic manufacturing environment.

 

DESCRIPTION
You will:

  • Help everyone with a positive attitude and be receptive to feedback
  • Administer our Microsoft Windows platforms as well as the ERP System, Exchange, SQL, CRM, Backups, DFS, Printers and Anti-Virus Protection and Windows Servers
  • Specify and manage the deployment of hardware and software upgrades
  • Create and maintain user accounts
  • Perform software installation, configuration, help desk duties, etc.
  • Have daily contact with team members to identify and resolve technical problems and work with other team members on upgrade project requirements
  • Provide individual and group instruction on the use of equipment, software and network features as needed
  • Administer Network Switches, Routers, Firewalls and Wireless Access Points
  • Configure VLANs, NAT Policies, DHCP and DNS
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CAT5 Cabling

 

QUALIFICATIONS
You have:

  • 5 years IT/Network Administrator experience
  • Troubleshooting skills with a focus on security
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizational and follow-up skills
  • The ability to multi-task

 

BONUS if you have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • MCSE or equivalent degree(s) or experience
  • Linux experience
  • OS X/iOS familiarity
  • Programming (C++, .NET, ASP)

HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST

We are seeking someone who loves people, and understands HR processes from top to bottom and beginning to end for our growing company with 100+ employees. We want someone who is kind and thoughtful, and who will be a large part of maintaining our happy culture while working with our small HR Team.

 

DESCRIPTION
You will:

  • Be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and work closely with Leadership in supporting the Wood Stone workforce
  • Administer various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel; assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain Employee Handbook and policies and procedures manual
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems
  • Assist with the compensation program; monitor the performance evaluation program and revise as necessary
  • Assist with benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees
  • Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, temporary employees; conduct new employee orientations, and write and place advertisements
  • Assist with employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars. Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory
  • Assist with maintenance of HR information system records and compile reports from the database
  • Assist with compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

 

QUALIFICATIONS
You have:

  • A B.A. degree and 3 to 5 years human resource experience, or a master’s degree in human resource management and two years experience in the HR field, or seven years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience
  • A high level of dedication to Customer Service and great Human Resource capacity
  • Competency with problem solving/analysis, project management, ethical conduct, and time management
  • Highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

We are seeking someone to plan and design products and processes to create the best, most reliable foodservice equipment of its kind and follow through on the development of new products from basic concept to full production.

 

DESCRIPTION
You will:

  • Design, develop, implement, test and maintain products with regard to cost, marketability, serviceability and reliability
  • Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods and feasibility of alternative parts and vendors
  • Transition products from development to production with complete documentation for service, marketing and customer
  • Collaborate with designers or other technical personnel
  • Communicate with various areas of the company regarding new and revised work

 

QUALIFICATIONS
You have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design Engineering or equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years mechanical design/drafting experience using Solid Edge and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of metal properties for manufacturing
  • A familiarity with CAD/CAM equipment
  • Excellent math and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

 

BONUS if you have:

  • A proficiency in REVIT
  • Experience with data acquisition systems or LabVIEW design and programming
  • A familiarity with ANSI/UL/CSA and International Standards pertinent to foodservice equipment
  • Kaizen or Six Sigma skills
