Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza Named "The Best" by the Food Network

The Food Network set out on a mission – to find the best slices of pizza.  They tried 50 slices of pizza in 50 states.  In the end, Wood Stone customer, Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza from the Twin Cities was the victor for Minnesota. Congratulations Black Sheep!
Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza has a Wood Stone coal-fired Fire Deck 9660 at their Minneapolis location and a Wood Stone coal-fired Fire Deck 11260 at their St. Paul location.
Here’s what the network had to say:
This is Minnesota’s first pizzeria with a coal-fired oven, and chef-owner Jordan Smith takes advantage of his setup to create super-crisp crusts that stay crunchy no matter what he puts on them. Smith’s tastiest pie is this sauceless wonder: a rich combination of meaty oyster mushrooms, smoked mozzarella, ricotta and tons of rosemary and thinly shaved garlic. $13 to $22; multiple locations.
Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza is located at 600 N. Washington Ave. in Minneapolis and 512 N. Robert Street in St. Paul.
